We have it beyond good. There is not another baseball team’s fan base that has it as good as the Astros’ have had in the last decade. The problem with the Astros is they’ve built up an expectation of clutch hitting, clutch pitching, and flat-out winning. The team this season has deserved criticism based on those expectations. It doesn’t mean that people think the Astros are a trash franchise for pointing out that the past couple offseasons have ranged from poor to lackluster as headed by Bagwell, Jackson, and the rest of the troupe of ex-jocks. |

Not sure how this team is better next season without new hitting coaches, a new offensive approach, and a few key bat acquisitions. The pitching will compete. Although I do have some concern with the bullpen moving forward (outside of Abreu and Hader in save situations).

All I'll say is that I don't understand the hate for the front office. They've made mistakes but they've also done some amazing work. If a bad year for us is only a division title, that's pretty damn good.
There is definitely plenty of work for next year though. Let's see how it goes.
