1:15 Start today.
Looking for Great Keuchel to make an appearance.
While struggles against lefties has been considered a weakness for the Astros, they've done well recently. Bregman is the exception over the last month, but he's good year to date.
GO STROS!

In a vain effort to get some sleep, I was watching Keuchel's first inning vs. the Mariners a couple weeks ago. The one where Seager hit the 3-run HR into the first row of the Crawford Boxes.
It occurred to me that there was a lot of bad luck at play in that inning. A rare error by Altuve. A single off a very good pitch. An infield chopper that would normally have resulted in an out... on any other day, Keuchel would probably have gotten through that inning scoreless, and perhaps given up 2 or 3 runs through the 7th inning. His May 25 start was stellar. So, today I expect us to see a very good Keuchel.
As for Duffy, he's had four really strong starts recently, but he is still a 5+ ERA pitcher and the Astros ought to score at least 7 today.
As usual, the Refugees will provide the critical moral support.

Lol. We’re all here to see a repeat WS. I won’t be destroyed if it doesn’t happen but I think they can do it.
Going to be hot in KC today. Maybe Julia will wear a two piece letting us know how hot it is.
Keuchel needs a good outing. Surrendering a 6 run lead in his last outing is hard to defend.

Last season the wrap on the Stros was they were playing in an easy division with the rest below the .500 mark. Then the nay sayers said at playoff time will they be able to dial it up to match the competition. This season the media is reporting their weakness is in the pen, and especially shows up when they play the future playoff contenders. Every season is different and with the M's and Angels showing some competition, this will make an exciting summer for the Baseball fan.

The suspension to Canó has been a blessing in disguise for the Mariners. They’re playing well without him, and if they make the postseason, Servais doesn’t even have the problem of working Canó back into the lineup as he is ineligible to play.

It is ironic a year the M's finally look legit, they lose one of their stars. I have read what you have said about Cano being ineligible. They are getting good offensive production, but their question mark is the starting rotation, can King Felix and the Big Maple hold up through a whole season. They have a GM that would trade his mother, I really don't know what kind of prospects they have to offer to bolster their rotation.

The Big Maple is a legit ace. He’s the fastest throwing lefty SP and has command of all secondary pitches. King Felix looks either injured or past his prime.

Another Marisnick start. Can Kemp not hit lefties or something?

Another Marisnick start. Can Kemp not hit lefties or something? kemp hit the side-arming lefty last night. I fail to see why Marisnick is in the lineup. Did they call up Tyler White to take up room in the dugut?? Give him a shot. I hope some semblance of the 2015 Keuchel shows up today. I wish I had confidence that it would. One thing in his favor is the Royals don't have a great offense.

Maybe a spot start if Marisnick needs a day off and half the team has food poisoning.

I have great expectations today since Kansas City doesn't appear to have the plate discipline to lay off the pitches just outside the zone. If he gets those swing and misses or calls from the Umpire, he can dominate.

Looking forward to Keuchel starting and no one saying..... it’s just bad luck....on his outcome.

I still say in Professional Sports there is no such thing as bad luck. The Player either makes the Play or doesn't. I attest that to Romo and that missed the field goal against Seattle. No one ever said it was bad luck all his career That was brought up as him being a choker. I have been a Cowboys fan since I became an Astros fan in the beginning.

Really whoever is in charge of them running the Bases needs to be fired. Never seen so many DP's because of bad base running.

He's calling strikes at both the top and bottom of the zones. Good news for Keuchel.
Looks like up and down is good but squeezed in and out. Make you adjustments.
