Pfft Correa is the one who has failed twice tonight with a runner on third and no outs.

Yup, If Correa didn't k there then most likely that's a DP anyhow on White (assuming same pitch sequence)

Time for a little of that late inning magic.

That was 101.2mph off of White's bat, just in the wrong place.

Correa is not the most frustrating hitter to watch, but he can go from crushing the ball to swinging at pitches that no one can hit productively.

Pfft Correa is the one who has failed twice tonight with a runner on third and no outs. Two terrible at bats by Correa when he was needed the most...takes strikes and swings at balls in the dirt. Brain cramps when we needed hits......and I don't much like Hinch's late inning defensive alignment, either.

with McHugh in the 9th it feels like we're pitching backwards

We needed Gattis to have the at bats that were wasted on Springer who needed the day off.

There are situations where you know Correa will not likely get anything to hit, and he does the pitcher a tremendous favor with an ugly hack.

8 hits on the night so far is respectable, but the Astros have only drawn one walk, which is a big part of the difference right now.

I don't know if it would have made a difference but feels like a lot of over managing for an AL regular season game.

Problem was he took the good pitches he had to hit which is his main weakness as a hitter........He never seems to learn from it.

I really thought HInch should have considered ordering Gurriel to bunt and just tie the game up.

In Correa's defense he is a very productive hitter with good numbers at a very young age. Two rough ABs tonight but let's not forget the big picture with him.

He's an ace and was rolling nicely.

I just don't understand why he keeps taking good pitches to hit with runners on base. Then, he looks bad by striking out on balls in the dirt.

He just had a bad game, but these are things he needs to work on picking up. On the road trip, it was see ball/hit ball. He gets into his head sometimes like when he takes strikes and swings at out of zone pitches.
