Yeah... Kiermeyer didn't have to leap for that catch.

Snell totally disrespecting Marisnick. Two straight at bats, two straight fastballs center of the plate. But the radio guys played it up as him “just missing it”. So did the Rays announcers.

Astros are running an in-game BABIP of .213. Putting the ball in play a lot; ought to have about three more hits than they do.

Snell's pitched a great game tonight. I like that we stretched him to 100 pitches after 7 by drawing some walks when it looked early on he'd be at 90 pc by the 9th

I wouldn't be surprised if Cash has some bunt play on.

Guys, it’s on me for praising Rondón.

Astros without Altuve, .000 winning percentage. Just lame to give him a day off. Pick a different game to do that.

At least JV won't get the loss.

He did a great job pitching out some jams tonight. When someone's on their game you've gotta hope you can get to the bullpen

Astros had chances for runs. Bases loaded one out in the first. Two on nobody out. But one hit since Bregmans double tied it.

It all takes a toll. Then again, it’s easier to pitch out of jams when the best hitter on the team is on the bench biting his nails.

Making two baserunning outs and being impatient at the plate in too many ABs has really made this game tough on the Astros.
Still, they have a very fair chance of scoring off the bullpen.

But the radio guys played it up as him “just missing it”. So did the Rays announcers. Not saying it was smart, just saying that is what he did.

Guys, it’s on me for praising Rondón. No. I think bannedfan called it about 2 hours ago when he said: “If the Astros win without Altuve....AJ is a genius. If the Astros lose without Altuve....it’s AJ’s fault. This one is on AJ.”

The pitching staff has done all anyone can reasonably ask of them this game. It's up to the offense to do their job and play smart.

Making two baserunning outs and being impatient at the plate in too many ABs has really made this game tough on the Astros. That's why I'm not so sure Altuve would've made a difference tonight. Last night was like that up until the last frame. We still could see him pinch-hit at any rate .. I get why Hinch picked tonight to give him a break though
