it's true that most teams would gladly take a 7-9 W/L record behind their #5 starter. Of course, no one considered Keuchel a #5 at the beginning of the year, and he might be pitching like a #1 by September for all I know.
However I think Hinch would be wise to treat Keuchel just like he's treating Correa right now, meaning to keep him out of games if he's not feeling right, as he'll be needed to contribute down the stretch. Great call. |

Keuchel is on pace for: 208 IP 34 Starts 13 Wins and a 3.53 ERA Since this thread was updated: 5-1 with a 1.65 ERA in July and a 2.77 ERA so far in August Keuchel has turned it around for sure. Great job by him when the team needed him to step up. |
