ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- The Astros will place first baseman Yuli Gurriel on the paternity list Thursday and recall first baseman AJ Reed from Triple-A Fresno. Gurriel can remain on the paternity list for up to 72 hours

So far the 7-man bullpen seems to be holding up just fine. Seems excessive to carry White and Reed at the same time. But, I suspect one of Hinch's marching orders out of spring training was to get Reed, Kemp, White, and Tucker up to the big league club at some point this year to see what they can do... alongside Davis who broke camp with the club.
Like he must follow the clipboard, Hinch must follow orders.

Reed has flopped every time he's been brought up and I expect more of the same. Hopefully, he stays 72 hours and then goes back or is traded. Having Reed and White both gives us two pieces of dead weight. |
