They are looking less likely to make a run this year with Seattle and Boston having a commanding lead in the WC race along with losing many key pieces at the end of the year. They went all in this year because their window to win was closing. They still have too many pieces to tear down completely, so that makes a strategic trade possible. Trade 2018, 2019 and 2020. (Trout) for runs in 2021 and beyond with a possibility as soon as 2020 if the Stros lose too many key players.
As I said, unlikely, but possible since we have many good replacement s for what they are about to lose.
Pipe dream. He's barely older than the prospects they would receive. |

Trout? Yeah Mr Crane, just drop another $35M a year on payroll. So MB, you expect us to have Altuve, Trout, and Correa....all at the same time?

I guess with Tucker being called up, we can't expect Mgt. to go out and get us a legit bat before the trade deadline. Ah, there's that good old negativity I was waiting for. Cant just be happy the kid gets his chance without lamenting about what we're not getting. |

Cant just be happy the kid gets his chance without lamenting about what we're not getting. Even though English is my language I don't always get across what I am saying in the proper manner. Yes, English was my worse subject in the 14 different schools I went to as a kid. What I was saying now that Tucker is coming up there is no need for Mgt. to go out an get a Legit bat as Tucker hopefully will fulfill that need and we only have to worry about a Relief Pitcher. Other than getting Marwin back to his Super Bench playing. |

Not bad for a phone shot, but the netting ruins most pictures from that spot.
They were great seats, because they were on the end of an aisle, I had an AC vent bowing right on me, and the two rows in front of me were empty.

The Astros are 12th in MLB in stolen bases this year. Despite his speed, Marisnick didn't steal much.
I would like to think that with Tucker in the mix, the Astros can finish the season around 6th in stolen bases.

I would like to think that with Tucker in the mix, the Astros can finish the season around 6th in stolen bases. I attribute that to him not being on base enough and not getting comfortable with his timing. So his poor OBP had a lot to do with him attempting to steal. |
