Aiken has a 7 and 18 record in the minors (A Ball) since 2016 and 5.05 ERA Rookie ball he was 0-4 7.13 ERA. Can't find anything on him in 2018 so far with the Indians.
Looked at other notable players that refused to sign after being drafted. Most are duds so far. Phillip Bickford has some promise but still in A ball after 3 seasons. Mark Appel never made it to the majors and quit.
Kyle Funkhouser is the only decent one that's progressing. AA ball 3.34 ERA with Detroit
Funny enough all are pitchers.

can you imagine how big a kick in the head it would of been to miss on Appel and Aiken.

Bregman came into the league a year after we drafted Aiken and that dude is still in A Ball. While Bregman is in hist 3rd year already.
I'm still in awe over getting Bregman 2nd and Kyle Tucker 5th in 2015 and now they both are in the majors.

Kind of like the jackpot we hit with Correa and McCullers

By the way... Seth Beer was hitting .329 with 4 Hrs in 20 gms in A ball. (.460 OB% 1.031 OPS)
Too early for him but a nice start

Kind of like the jackpot we hit with Correa and McCullers Yeah, we missed out on Bryant to get Aiken... but technically we already hit the jackpot with Correa over Buxton. I still remember jaws dropping when the Astros selected Correa #1. Everyone thought Buxton was the guy

Finally found an article on what is gong on with Aiken now. Took me forever.
"One name you haven’t seen listed anywhere is former Indians 2015 first round pick and former No. 1 overall pick LHP Brady Aiken. From what I’m hearing, the Indians are slowly easing Aiken into the 2018 season after he pitched the entire 2017 season despite not being too far removed from Tommy John surgery. It’s likely he’ll work on some mechanics and repetition of delivery until he’s ready to go. I’m not sure where he’ll begin once the organization feels he’s ready."

Luhnow and his guys have hit on draft picks more often than they have missed. Nabbing Bregman and Tucker with the 2nd and 5th overall picks in 2015 was also hitting the jackpot.

I remember Aiken (and KB) whined about how the Astros were lowballing him on a contract since he was a TJS risk, which he denied. Guess what happened soon after? Bullet dodged.
