I like this basic collection of players, but I'd probably flip Gattis and Reddick, so that you don't have two LHH in a row. That tends to make it easier for the opposing manager to go to his Lefty Killer in the bullpen for two quick outs. Springer is curiously absent from this line-up. It would be a good one to use if George needs to go on the DL or go fishin' for a day. Alternatively, if Gattis falls off a cliff like I suspect he will, Springer could DH in his place. or, Springer could replace Reddick depending on L/R matchups. |

Sir, did you bench Springer or was he defenestrated? I'm going with the hot hand. If Tucker doesn't break out and Correa remains unavailable, Springer would be a nice replacement. As it is, I could see more use of defensive replacements with this line-up. |

Random thought --
I don't suppose they were keeping spray charts back in the 80s. But if they did, how many more HRs would Glenn Davis have hit at MMP compared to the Dome? I'd love to see the chart overlay.
Davis once participated in a Home Run Derby, didn't he?
