I wish I understood the logic Correa is using when he stands and takes two perfect strikes before he ever swings the bat. I know it works some of the time, but, he and Marwin killed that inning with those terrible at bats. Jose leads off with ad double, steals third, and watches Marwin take a third called strike with one out. Bad jobs by Carlos and Marwin.

Astros have struck out 33 times in 31 innings in 2018. It was a worrisome trend in spring training that should have been left behind in Florida. Fox kept showing the graphic last post season of how we went from worst to first in lack of K's last year. Hope we are not reverting back to old habits. |
