McCullers gave us another bad outing. With him, there is no middle ground. He either dominates or he sucks. He has sucked in his last two starts. His problem is between his ears.
Springer seems to be back on track so Altuve and Bregman take the weekend off.
i agree that the plate umpire is terrible....gives nothing at the top of the zone. Entire ball in the zone and he calls it a ball.

Game over Hinch waited too long on Lance and the on and off again Offense decided winning two was enough. They showed that when they shut down last night after the Springer GS.

I’m sorry I don’t know the Astros TV announcers name for Houston but he is bad. Said the Astros were ahead 6-3. Called Calhoun, David Calhoun. Devo getting shelled again. |

We get close and Hinch brings in Harris to give them the five run lead back and then Devenski to let them blow it open........The main weakness in this bullpen is we need somebody to bring in to get a Key strikeout. Harris throws BP and Devenski hasn't been much better. We need two relievers BAD. Federowicz is an automatic out and needs to be replaced. It will cost some prospects, but, Luhnow has to strengthen this roster if they are to have a chance to repeat. Keep Kemp in the lineup as either a LF or DH.

Watching him come off the mound after getting shelled and still have that little cocky strut to his walk is getting old. He and Harris both are terrible right now and Harris has been consistently terrible. |
