True, but then again the MLB creates this problem by giving fans such close access to the field.

I’d rather have Bregman’s triple than Springer’s home run. I’d rather have a sweep.

He had a chance to catch it, but, it was no sure thing.

They saw “Astros” on the dude’s shirt and thought he was interfering for Bregman.

While it was a ridiculous call, Bregman’s F-bomb rant on TV is just another reason not to like him. Horrible example for kids.

He aint Albert Belle I know we don't need him suspended, but, i can see why he would want to punch that guy's lights out. i also agree with Bortaz, using that f-bomb was not terrible and makes Bregman look bad.

Foul language doesn’t bother me, but I will say it’s unnecessary here. I understand being upset, but Bregman let his emotions get the best of him. He still needs to mature some.

There’s a time and a place for cussing. During a televised postgame interview isn’t one of them.

Eh, young players have a leeway for unplanned dumbassery. I hope Altuve and Hinch took him aside afterwards and dealt with him, though. Also, someone should make sure the kid deletes his Twitter.

I don't mind some fire, but he may have gone a little too far with it. The language was bleeped out, but kids hear that stuff all the time now anyways.
I get the frustration though. Should have been a ground rule double.

Biggio and Bagwell may have gotten a bad rap for their stoicism, but it kept them from outbursts like this toward the media. You represent a paying entity so your obligation is to not make them appear as one with no control over its personnel.

Unfortunately, even the commish is trying to get players (like Trout) more active on their "brand". The biggest way to increase your "brand" is by getting out there on the internet.

"Yeah but" is a piss poor way to respond to a point.

the replay clearly showed that the fielder did not have his eyes on the ball and was more concerned with contact with the wall than catching the ball. Bad call. Stupid move by Bregman but bad call.

I’m not a big fan of Rob Manfred. Nearly everything is cool with him if it’s douchey: Twitter wars, batflips in unimportant situations, nicknames on the backs of gross looking jerseys, etc. Conversely, you have no-no’s like breaking up double plays, running over the catcher, or questioning him on one-sided trades like Stanton to the Bronx.

Yeah, the call was bad, but what can you do? The umps were enforcing a rule that was bad. They did their jobs.

The best move Bregman can make is to shut up, stay off social media, and concentrate on doing his job. This game is over........he didn't get the triple and all the pissing and moaning won't change a thing and makes him sound like an immature jerk. I love Alex as a player, his confidence, and his drive, but it's now time to shut the hell up and move on.

Bregman should be sufficiently pissed off to get 4 hits today.
