Little things like grounding the ball to the right side make the difference. We often see righty hitters on this team try to slam it past the 3B or SS with a man on 3rd base.

The mariners inning was set up by the blown call by Eddings when Cole had Haniger struck out looking and didn't get the call. I also wondered why Hinch didn't go to McHugh instead of Pressley when Segura and Cruz both have trouble with breaking balls

This team plays with energy on the road and looks like horse shit at home.  Correa doesn't look healthy to me ....weak swings

We had the chance to bury the Mariners but this team has NO killer instinct. They don't play with the same energy at home as they do on the road. pathetic

Cole is 1-4 since starting 9-1 and the Astros are 3-5 in his last 8 games. However, the Stros have only scored a total of 6 runs in those 5 loses.

Since starting 9-2, Verlander is 2-5 since and the Astros overall are 4-6. Astros scored 12 run in 5 of those loses (not counting the last one he was ejected from)

That's 1.8 runs per game in those 10 loses with arguably our best 2 pitchers on the mound. Sigh
