Cole is 1-4 since starting 9-1 and the Astros are 3-5 in his last 8 games. However, the Stros have only scored a total of 6 runs in those 5 loses. Since starting 9-2, Verlander is 2-5 since and the Astros overall are 4-6. Astros scored 12 run in 5 of those loses (not counting the last one he was ejected from) That's 1.8 runs per game in those 10 loses with arguably our best 2 pitchers on the mound. Sigh Coleched good enough to win tonight and in a couple of other games he has lost. There is something wrong when a team plays as well as this one does on the road and then comes home and does this crap. You would think an off day at home is what they need,but, not with these guys. They tanked three straight at home against the Rangers and have shown very little life in the first two games of this series. I know they have injuries, but, great teams overcome them and don'tuse that as an excuse. |

Probably. Question, why doesn't tbone post anymore? He got married, lives in S. Korea, and is about to have a baby, best I remember. I occasionally see him post on FB, but not much. He joined here, but only made around 5 posts. |

Sometimes, the Astros go out there looking like Rocky Balboa from the beginning of Rocky III. They look complacent and uninspired. God bless Tony Kemp, though.
