My boss went to the kickoff luncheon today and sat with Watson. Said he was the most humblest, shyest person he's ever met. Also, he brought me an autographed football. Said it's my birthday present for the next five years. LOL

Some guy on the radio named Landry Locker picked the Texans to go to the Super Bowl. One can only hope.

I gave up my season ticket to a friend of ours (just for this season). I hope I regret it.

Not a bad overall game yesterday. The trick play got to us.

The one thing I can say the Texans lead the league in is excuses.

I didn't hear any excuses. We just have a dumb coach.

Are ALL the players showing respect to the Flag by standing with hand over heart yet? If not, they can go to China where their utopian dream has come true.

All the Texans stand for the flag. The only time they didn't was when the owner made a statement about the inmates running the asylum. For the most part, the Texans are respectful. They got rid of the one player who decided to be a jackass.

It did not take the Austin stations long to dump the Texans games. Not on this Sunday. No matter I won't be in town and I do not watch anymore.

My biggest question for the season thus far is has Watt past his prime?
He's playing well for a normal player, but will we ever see that dominance that made him a historic three time Defensive POY?

I didn't hear any excuses. We just have a dumb coach. I don't understand why the owner never gets any blame. I think he deserves all of it. It's obvious from the news reports McNair's word is law, he ordered everyone to mortgage future draft picks and mismanage the salary cap, and O'Brien wouldn't have gotten a 5-year extension unless the front office ran it by him first

In my opinion, he’s worse than Kubiak, Smith, and O’Brien combined in terms of how he chooses to manage talent and draft picks. They need a new warden running the inmates of the asylum.

They won’t fix the offensive line, but they sure as heck want people to pay up for those season tickets.

club victories since the Astros won the World Series
Astros 100 Rockets 76 Texans 1 The Texans kind of coast on the die-hard fanbase being loyal enough to continue showing up for games regardless of the product on the field because subconsciously the fans are afraid that less support could result in another Titans. It’s very much like the Cubs before Epstein. They’re a good organization but run by bad people.

again it doesn't matter if good people are in the front office when McNair runs the show. People were so quick to lay everything at Drayton (and Jerry's) doorstep thinking of my Cowboy-rooting pals, when it's obvious McNair is a Steinbrenner-type even more than those guys

The only reason to watch the Texans this year is to see JJ improve his future Hall of Fame case.

The only reason to watch the Texans this year is to see JJ improve his future Hall of Fame case. I am a fan of Watson, Hopkins....and the D-Line and Lbs are good... With an early drat pick next year, they have to address the O-line....and get an OL in FA, who is not a scrub level.
