The bunny hop strikeout is an accurate description. Yuli is much better than he has shown since the break. Having him, Correa, and Springer all under-achieving is a big problem. I have faith that they will get past this slump. They're too good.

With the way Yuli has tanked, Gattis should get DH at bats with White playing first base. The scary thing is Yuli is the better hitter of the two...I trust him way more than Gattis...Gattis is extremely streaky.....when he is on, man is it great, because crushes the ball...but next thing you know it is a solid month or two of bunny hop strikeouts (I forget who here coined that phrase). He's a better contact hitter when he's right, but Gattis provides more production.

Tyler has his career OPS over .800 now. A quick projection of his stats for this year, if he had played a full season and maintained his pace:
33 HR 105 RBI 75 Runs 150 Hits

I am glad to see you embrace White. You were real hard to convince that he was for real.

I am glad to see you embrace White. You were real hard to convince that he was for real. At the time I was down on him, he was doing absolutely nothing to prove he belonged on the team. He has since shown that he needed time and now we would be in trouble without him. He is proving his worth. I would now agree that he is more valuable than Gurriel.
