First team that comes to my mind is Boston with Sale going on the DL. I saw where Price was hit in the wrist by a comebacker a couple days ago and promptly removed from the game. Not sure how he will be affected by that going forward. Red Sox have the offense to overcome some adversity within their rotation. Astros do not....did last year..., not this year. Fresno put up 14 runs vs AAA pitching last night...Astros couldn’t manage 1 against the Angels’ AAA pitcher last night. The offense is running out of excuses, and their mystique is fading fast. I just saw on Astros.com that the team is activating McCann and Jake, and calling up pitchers Cionel Perez and Josh James. SMH.... so that’s the answer to our problems on offense? LMAO!

They both can fill a role in Houston. What I don’t understand is calling up 2 pitchers and no position players when the big club is having trouble scoring runs.

Luhnow kept talking about Fresno being in the playoffs maybe they will bring up some of his priceless prospects later. I just hope Reed isn't one of them.He reminds me of Jethro on the old Beverly Hillbillies show.,

As you look around the league some playoff teams as having the injury bug with their starting staffs like the Stros. Putting points on the board is now a concern, hopefully a new month and the offense will wake up.

The Bo Sox tried this season to keep a tab on his load, but the usual burnout of Sale. If the playoffs were in June he would be dynamite. Price could be a different story, the Stros have trouble with this guy.

If Sale isn't 100%, the Red Sox could have problems with the winner of the Wild Card playoff, espcially if it's the Yankees.

There are also times when Price is hammered....he isn't infallible. If both Price and Sale are on their games......I had much rather face Price.
I am catching the 8th inning of last night's game..........the more I see replays of Altuve's at bat in that inning, the more difficult it is to believe that he did the dumb things he did. lFor some reason, he is completely out of sinc......He is a very good player, but, he can do some of the dumbest things during a game that I have ever seen. He had no clue what he was doing in that at bat and blew another chance to help his team.

If he is ok and just in some sort of funk he needs to get up there and work things out at the plate. If we are going to do anything in the playoffs it will be because he was a part of the line up, not because he was not.

He has to produce....and so does Correa and Springer........if we have a shot to repeat.

The Yankees usually own Price, If it comes to meeting these two guys in the playoffs, I would rather see Price the one out, and face a season ending Sale on the mound.
