The reigning World Series MVP has taken quite a bit of shit this year for a prolonged slump, but he has quietly been creeping back up to have a pretty strong year. Not as good as last year, but still a solid year (and potentially a pretty good year if he finishes hot).
Currently on pace for:
23 HR 73 RBI 98 Runs .258/.341/.437 (116 OPS+)
If he can stay hot, he has a good chance at 80 RBI and 100 Runs, which would be the 3rd year in a row of 20+ HR 80+ RBI 100+ Runs.
I know he can have some frustrating swings and ABs (especially for a leadoff hitter), but if you look at his overall numbers, he has been one of the best leadoff hitters in the game during that time span. And no matter what, you have to love his effort and hustle.

I suggest that Bregman offer to tutor Correa on his approach at the plate so maybe he can improve on the .171 BA he has since his return from the DL.

I’m afraid to jinx what he’s got going by saying he’s back or whatever, but he needs to keep up the good work.
