I noticed that too. Maybe it's because we play boring games and expect too much or maybe cuz folks are busy. My preference is to stay here and try to get things moving again.

Didn’t Saint say he was going to be out of town and not posting for a while? I remember Saint saying that. No WAR and OPS updates so he is out.  When we come out and look that flat and still manage to win, we are very fortunate. Pitching and a couple of defensive plays saved this game. You could tell they got into Detroit about four this morning and still had a bad taste in their mouths thanks to that bungled call by the Umpires that probably cost us sweeping Boston. Glad to hear AJ say he contacted the league office about how that was handled. Personally, I think some bias played a part because anyone who knows the game could look at the replays and see that no tag was made on Altuve and he was safe. |

I think MLB comes out with a statement admitting they botched the call on Altuve.

I was just looking at the standings in the NL. Dodgers are a game back in the loss column to the Rockies in the NL West and a game back in the loss column to the Cardinals in the race for the second wild card. They have 4 games coming up against the Cardinals beginning Thursday followed by 3 against the Rockies. With the kind of money that organization has spent over the last few years, if they miss the playoffs, surely some heads will roll.

according to mlb.com, the Astros have been involved in 63 replay reviews this year. 27 have gone in the Astros' favor and 36 against the Astros.
Watching the games it sure seems like 75% have gone against the Astros though.

Angels would be eliminated from the divisional race with a loss tonight, but it’s the lame Rangers facing them so I wouldn’t hope for much.

we play the Angels 6 times over the next three weeks so if they started seeing what they have with some minor league guys it would not hurt my feelings any. It would allow us to do the same.
