Morton has right shoulder discomfort. He’s toast. Discomfort could mean anything....it may not be serious. We have to hope it isn't.

Has anyone missed having Correa in the lineup? Sadly, no, but there’s no repeating without him.

And the Twinkies are leading the A's 5-1 in the 4th. Of course anyone trusts that lead holds well.........

Problem is NY lost today and Oakland knows a win will bring them within a 1/2 game of a tie. I am sure they would love and prefer to play the Playoff Game at home to get the right to go to Boston to play.

At this point, I won't be surprised at anything where Correa is concerned. TK said AJ mentioned he could be back in Toronto. Of course, I don't put much stock in a timeline AJ gives us about injured players.
Great job by Valdez who is making a case for being on the playoff roster.

I say NO and one thing is Managment blew it by not getting someone that could replace him. I am sure they were Hoping he would come around. I don't see him being any help in the Playoffs the way he was Hitting. Hinch would have continued to play him in the middle of the lineup.

Has anyone missed having Correa in the lineup? Sadly, no, but there’s no repeating without him. I would not say we can't repeat without him, but, it would be easier if he were healthy and producing. We have never been told exactly what is wrong with his back nor have we been told how he injured it. The whole thing has been mysterious and the way it's been handled has left lots of room for speculation. My own opinion is that he is not healthy and hasn't been since going on the DL. I also think they will stick him back in the lineup and hope for the best, especially if they are told he won't risk permanent injury. He has been very little use to the team for most of the season and you can say we won the West without him.

Who in here is confident that either Angles or Seattle win at least one run from Oakland? I am with Seattle. Angels look like they have mailed it in.

Magic # at 3. If Oakland wins out, a 3-4 week by Houston is good enough to clinch.

Hope we clinch early and allow AJ to set his pitching rotation for best results. This is a road trip we could sweep. I think AJ can set the rotation and rest some regulars. Bregman needs it. I am more encouraged about Morton after hearing AJ on the post game
