This is a road trip we could sweep. I think AJ can set the rotation and rest some regulars. Bregman needs it. I am more encouraged about Morton after hearing AJ on the post game What did AJ say? He said if necessary they could have pushed on and kept him in the game. He said he noticed a lack of velocity on Charlie's fastball and indicated Charlie mentioned a little discomfort. I think he wants to be sure Charlie is healthy for the post season. Stanton mentioned that Morton could be kept out of a start this week and probably would not be needed for nearly three weeks. I don't think there is a lot of concern or AJ was hiding it......and he has done that before. |

Even without a generous umpire, Framber held in there and did a great job for six innings... a few more innings that I'd have expected from him. He had to have gone to the ballpark thinking he'd sit the entire game.
Correa? Didn't even notice he was gone.

Looking at the pitching opposition the first 2 games in Toronto, the Astros should score some runs. Astros haven’t had much good luck in Toronto. I’d take 2 of 3 and a clinch and be happy.

I think we can safely say we came out on top of that deal. The negative side of facing this idiot would be that he is such a psycho that he could throw at one of our core players.....Altuve, Bregman, etc.......to try and injure them and knock them out of the post season. |

Getting rid of Giles is a plus no matter what happens with Osuna. I am confident all of this mess works out and he will be a big help for us. |
