I like the lineup AJ put out there tonight. If Correa is not healthy enough to drive the ball when he returns, he shouldn’t be in the lineup.

Better to go in a Winner than backing in looking for another team to lose. Astros blew so many games this year they should be fighting Boston for the #1 Spot instead of 6 behind. The way I look at it they would be in the lead. |

I wonder if Altuve has ever considered letting the first pitch go by if it is not a good pitch to hit. He consistently gets himself out by swinging at the first pitch, many of which are well out of the zone. After James had a long inning, Springer took four pitches to get out and then Altuve and Bregman each made outs on the first pitch so James hardly had time to sit down. Altuve does dumb things like this too often. He had an 0-5 game and at least two of them were when he made outs on the first pitch. That brain fart he had last night getting picked off may have had a lingering effect. Of course, Blum and Kalas said it was probably because Jose hates to DH. |

Do you think AJ will let Osuna close every game of the series just to rub Giles nose in it? I hope so. I heard the Osuna post game interview and he was kind in his words about Toronto and the Bluejays and their fans. He didn't blame the organization for his troubles or say he was mishandled by Gibbons. On the other hand, asshole Giles has accepted none of the responsibility for his problems. This translates into Osuna showing maturity and Giles being a classless, immature nut job. |
