Winning by an A’s walkoff pinch hit loss is beautiful Not to mention that both Chapman made an error in the 9th and their Jesus closer blew a save.

I'm so glad we won the division, but now we need to stay hot in October like last year.

It was a pleasant surprise to wake up and see the M's won and Astros as division Champs. I am with Marshall that they need to keep the hammer down and claim the best season record for the Astros. 3 0f 5 but I want to win Out.

Looks like it may be Oakland at NY in the WC game. Winner plays Boston.

Just got up and found out the A’s lost and Astros clinched the division. Hoping to see a lot of innings played by our callups for these last few games. Some of the regulars look like they could use the rest.

Most knowing they are trade bait, and no way better to latch on to another club by proving something.

Bregman and Altuve are due time off.

Now is finally the time to give some starts to Fisher, Straw, Davis, and other players who might be traded in the off season.
Not sure why Devo is starting instead of Lance. Maybe it's more of a formality.
Astros pitching still #1 in MLB and hitting is #6 by OPS but just a little bit out of 4th and 5th place. I'd like to see the team finish in the Top 5 offensively by OPS. but it's all just for fun at this point.
Priority now has to be setting up things for the ALDS in the meanest way possible.

Bregman and Altuve are due time off. Bregman is the main one who needs time off......Jose had a rest on the DL,but, I'd give him and the rest a couple of days. I'd put Straw, Tucker, Davis, Stassi, and Jake all in the starting lineup today.

I think the reason Devo is starting is that it gives him a clean inning to see if e's found his mojo. If not, it still give the Astros the chance to see if McCullers can come in with runners on base or if he needs to wait for a clean inning opportunity as a reliever.

I will be surprised if McCullers doesn't pitch today. Hinch said the pen so we will get Deetz, Perez, Guduan, and all but our main guys. He will rest Pressley, Osuna, etc.

Looks like it may be Oakland at NY in the WC game. Winner plays Boston. I think it’s ridiculous that the Yankees could play the Red Sox in the ALDS instead of the ALCS. Good job there, Manfred.

There's just absolutely no reason that Springer, Altuve, Bregman, Gurriel, or Correa should play the next couple of games. Maybe let some of them play on Verlander's last start to try and get him one more win in his CY journey, otherwise. Rest them until the last game.

getting guys some rest is more important than trying to win 103 games I think they can rest and still win three more games. None of the top of guys should play the next two days, period. Then play partial games to maintain their timing the last three. Kemp, Straw, Stassi, Gattis, Davis, and White should play every game.

Correa has had all the rest he can handle. He needs as many ABs as possible to see if he is worth carrying on the playoff roster. All the players will be getting more rest than they've had all season. Keeping sharp is now most important. Last year, Verlander started on 3 days rest in the ALDS. I suspect the same this year. we shouldn't need a 4th starter till the 7 game series'.
After today. I expect to see at least 5 regulars for the remaining games..

Getting Correa some at bats needs to be a priority. Let’s see what that back of his is up to
