If we can get past Cleveland, I think we have an excellent shot. That Cleveland rotation is pretty damn spectacular.

I am more concerned with Cleveland than the Red Sox or Yankees due to their starting pitching. They have Kluber, Carasco, Clevenger, and Bauer. The Red Sox have Sale and Price and an average pen until they get to Kimbrell. The Yankees starting pitching is spotty at best. Severino isn't close to what he was last year at this time. They never know what they will get from Tanaka or Sabathia. What we get offensively......especially from Correa.....is my main concern. Our pitching staff has the edge is you consider the two bullpens, especially if McCullers and James are both in it and do as they are capable. |

I have been critical of the Astros at various points during the year. Those times were when the Astros were half stepping it through the game. When they have been challenged they have responded every time. They will be challenged during the Cleveland series. I firmly believe that they will rise to meet the challenge and win the series 3-2. The championship series will be anti-climatic in a 4-2 series win for the Astros.

Boston, so far, is not looking too impressive. They go to NYC with a split in that series. Could be an ALCS rematch... |

Price doesn’t seem to handle other teams as well as he does with the Astros, and that bullpen is Kimbrel and hot garbage. |
