Bregman is going to be a guest "analyst" for the game tonight. How quickly into the show do they ask him about "The Stare" and have him do one live? i hope he watches his mouth...he has a tendency stick his foot in it. He’s a good interview. He just flashes the swagger too much on social media.

I saw about 30 seconds of the World Series just now. Not for me. It didn’t help that Machado was batting.

Like during an interview after the ALCS, he took off his shirt and flexed. Then he took the sponsor-displayed bottle of Gatorade, opened it, and took a drink. Then he said some dumb shit like "Gatorade...i prefer Powerade". Way to piss off your game's sponsor, you dumb f***.

All this stuff he does happens because it’s allowed to happen. For instance, the social media issue: why is he the only one on the team posting stupid crap on Instagram/Twitter? There’s a reason why people like Bear and I bitch about the team needing veteran leadership.

He is making a total ass of himself.

They won’t any time soon. It’s up to the players to do something. I discussed this online with Tim. I appreciate the swagger, but I don’t care for the unnecessary social media talk or his behavior such as: 1. The flexing. 2. The Gatorade thing. 3. Worst of all, taking a break from a postgame interview to spit out some dip. Altuve needs to slap the back of Bregman’s head like it’s McCullers’s glove.

There’s a reason why people like Bear and I bitch about the team needing veteran leadership. I don't know if I'm that way anymore. After you win the World Series, if you still need a babysitter in the clubhouse to help the team then your priorities aren't straight. There were some additions to the roster who choked in the ALCS that hadn't won a championship before, so it's time for guys like Springer to step up and tell'em what it takes to concentrate on baseball on that stage. The front office can't realistically expect him to do that though, unless they extend him in the offseason. I think 7 yrs/$190M is fair. He's great with the glove and I've been waiting 40 years for an Astro to hit like he does in October

Clue: He can't keep his mouth shut .

George's contract comes up before Correa's so he needs to be a priority

I see Ken Griffey, Jr. endorsing a “let the kids play” message from the MLB featuring a whole bunch of excitement, batflipping, and celebration. What do they all think about Machado busily admiring a fly ball off the outfield wall and having to settle for a single? Let the kids showboat.

Machado's attitude/behavior and play this postseason is going to cost him a few bucks, I think. He'll still get a massive deal, but I think he has hurt his image some.
He stepped on Pierce's foot yesterday. Probably an accident, but after that Aguilar business he has set himself up for scrutiny.

But, he will get a big contract because attitude isn't important to most teams

I voted Red Sox but it was almost a toss-up between that and indifferent. My admiration for JD is really the tie-breaker between caring and not giving a shit. fwiw, he's been off his game at the plate during the series. I'll cheer louder and see if that makes a difference.

I didn't really care who won......although I hate the Dodgers with a passion...........until that punk, Manny Machado, started his act......spikkng first baseman, hitting the catchr's helmet TWICE ON his backwwing. Machado is a dirty son of a bitch who needs to be dealt with by the league office. No place in the game for the dirty crap he does.

Springer is worth more to the Astros than just his stats. Altuve as well. Manny is worth less than his stats for whatever team signs him.

Speaking of duds, is Kershaw the worst big-game pitcher ever? And is Jansen the worst big-game reliever?
