With Verlander and Cole bending FAs in 2020, do the Astros spend more in FA this year or make major trades to go for the title?

You can't blow up the future over one year when we still have such a strong offensive core for a few more years, imo.
I think a legit all-star catcher is worth a big trade and losing some prospects, but I don't think we should give up all our top prospects. I'd rather see them overspend on some big name veterans for a year or two.

He would be worth the 6-year, $140 million contract Saint mentioned. Well, none of them are worth what they get but that is the market value. |
