Certainly HoF deserving, but I was surprised at the small amount of awards he received during his career. Only a 4-time all star in 21 years. (However, he did have 4 silver sluggers and 5 gold gloves too.)
One of those guys that was consistently good but rarely elite, and he peaked late age-wise. His best span was from age 31 to 38.
3000+ Hits 400+ HR 1500+ Runs 1700+ RBI 600+ Doubles 100+ SBs .286/.339/.480 .819 OPS 116 OPS+

I’m surprised he didn’t go for 500 homers. He only needed 23 more.

Sad day for Ranger fans. One of the only positive aspects of this pathetic franchise is done.

Beltre, Michael Young, and Pudge Rodriguez were all great players and class acts.

Last year when our little league team went to Arlington my son got to play ping pong with Beltre. He will be missed in the baseball world for sure.
