Here is AT&T Sportsnet's broadcast schedule for ST. Besides these games, opponents' TV networks will be broadcasting a bunch of games as well. Not to mention some radio-only broadcasts.
The long wait is quickly coming to an end.

The Chronicle is reporting that Garret Stubbs reported to camp 15 pounds heavier this spring. A lot of people had been saying he was too skinny to hack it as a big league catcher. Maybe this will change some opinions.
Not sure how much of the weight gain was fat and how much was muscle. But he said he ate so much this winter that he's kind of sick of food.

I wouldn’t know that feeling! That’s good though that he added some weight.

Bregman has put up some good footage of ST workouts.
I kept wondering who the random minor leaguer on the field was and finally I realized... that's Aledmys Diaz! We're gonna have to get used to seeing a few new faces.

The Astros steal about 20 bases in a typical spring training (2018 ST it was 16). In today's game alone they stole 3. On pace for 99 SBs this spring!
To finish the spring with 30 or more SBs would be really encouraging in terms of ensuring the Astros of the near future won't be as slow as last year's team was.

Losing Marwin and McCann helps the speed issues . Now, if Springer could mind meld with Bagwell he might actually steal some bases.

One take away from the game yesterday was Fisher doing a Robbie Grossman imitation. For a player with so much promise, hate to see the direction his career is going.

If Straw could hit ten bombs a season, Marisnick should go.

Straw just flat outran that ball. The young man can cover some ground.

If Straw could hit ten bombs a season, Marisnick should go. I would like to keep Straw and Marisnick and get rid of Kemp.

Reed, Toro, and Fisher are getting special treatment early on from Hinch and being allowed to stay in for the entire game. Most guys are getting pulled after 2 or 3 PAs. I guess Hinch wants to get as big a data set as possible on those 3 players in order to make some tough decisions at the end of camp.
Team OPS is .844 through 3 games (21 runs scored) so all is good in that department.
Team ERA so far is 3.04 (9 ER allowed one 1 unearned).
By comparison, the rest of the AL West is looking pathetic... Rangers/Athletics/Angels all giving up ~9 runs/game.
Hope we see Altuve soon. I read that he had 'knee soreness' which is not the right way to start the season.

The Jake-Straw competition is fun to watch. Both players looking very sharp.
If the Astros end up with a surplus of awesome outfielders, one option might be to trade one to SFG for a premium reliever.

It occurred to me that if Reymin Guduan sings well, he could have a post-baseball career as a Marvin Gaye impersonator.

Astros get to test themselves against another good pitcher today in Syndergaard.
If I'm not mistaken, it will be Verlander followed by Whitley for the Astros.

I didn't realize it at the time, but the trio of Bukauskas-Bielak-Scheetz finished yesterday's game throwing 6 innings of hitless ball. Some of the more pertinent comments from a Mets fan site yesterday:

At Jacksonville State yesterday, a bird dropped a fish over the outfield, stopping play.
Manfred is now in a tough position, wanting to get revenge on the bird for delay of game, but afraid of PETA's response.

If Straw could hit ten bombs a season, Marisnick should go. If Straw could get on base at a 375 clip, steal 70 bases, and hit 30 doubles, I would not care if he ever hit a home run. He would be my starting cf and lead off hitter. The guy had a +400 obp prior to them jacking with his swing last year so it is not hard to imagine him growing into a 375 number. He averages over 10 assists a year and he obviously can cover some ground. If he hits this spring then Marisnick's days are over, if he does not look good or if they want another shot at "adjusting" his swing then Marisnick stays and we see him next year in cf.

I agree, Straw is a humongous asset for the Astros if he can get on-base at high a clip. Despite Marisnick defense, I just don't see him on the team if Straw produces. Marisnick to the Giants for some reliever that Luhnow's analytics like or a diamond in the rough prospect

They took Drew Ferguson in the rule 5 draft so perhaps they could bundle Ferguson's rights and Marisnick and get a little more. Ferguson is a poor man's version of Straw. high obp, reasonably fast, smart and lives and breathes baseball.
