WTH? The season already started? Ya stupid early season starts before spring training is even over. I hate those. I don’t mind the whole concept of series being played in other countries occasionally but I cannot stand when the season starts a week before spring training is even over for all the other clubs. |

It's a hoot to read this thread in mid August and see the hand-wringing that goes on at the beginning of the season. Mariners are in the cellar, and the second-place A's are hanging around at about 8 to 10 games back from the first-place Astros on any given week. Last year was my first year of baseball, and I watched as things progressed throughout the year. I learned that things rarely pan out like you might think from watching the early games. I watched with interest this year, not with that sense of panic I had last year.
