I don’t want to see Marisnick really bat against RHP. I laughed yesterday when I heard Sparky say that the hitting coach thinks Marisnick is “really close” to having some breakout. A rash of some kind?

A mighty blast there by Fisher.

Fisher isn't any better than Marisnick at this point and we're actually paying Jake. Plus he was an above-average player for us last year in his role.
In any case, their flaws don't show as much if the rest of the team was hitting...

More balls than strikes for Lance...

I wonder if Castro argues with himself when he misses on strike 3.

The story of Castro's career, always looking at a two strike hole.

Man, for some reason, Bregman is just missing defensive plays a lot this season.

Groundball dinkers and walks are winning this series for the Twins.

Bad break on that ground ball.

And now the Twins have an almost insurmountable lead. Lance is close to being done.

Putting too many free baserunners on base will come back to bite you.

Im at work and cant do it, but someone please post Marisnick's stats from last year to disprove Saints claim that he was above average last year. Or ever. In even a single stat.

It's almost unbelievable. Altuve has "lost" skills, but Marisnick is above average. Lort have mercy.

A K, DP or the shower. What will it be here for Lance?
Shower.

I am glad the front office kept the thought of keeping Colin around, instead of being on the block.

This game has been blown open. What’s the thing we’ve been seeing the past two days? The more you see a pitcher, the better the at-bats become. With the Astros, they look like they face 9 relievers a game. They have no clue what they’re doing on offense.

Im at work and cant do it, but someone please post Marisnick's stats from last year to disprove Saints claim that he was above average last year. Or ever. In even a single stat. He had an .815 OPS with 121 OPS+ offensively and 16 HRs, and had a .4 defensive WAR despite only partial playing time.... What part wasn't above average?

I am glad the front office kept the thought of keeping Colin around, instead of being on the block. I agree. McCullers and Keuchel can’t have efficient innings.

It's almost unbelievable. Altuve has "lost" skills, but Marisnick is above average. Lort have mercy. Altuve has lost "power" was what I said. And Marisnick was above average "last year" is again, what I said. Let's not just make up words for others.
