Looking for the offense to break out early tonight and Cole to notch his first W of 2019. As far as our offense goes, this game is a tough call for me. On the one hand the kid starting for NY appears to be a FB pitcher and the Astros normally do much better against a power pitcher than they do against a guy who throws a lot of offspeed stuff and can locate his pitches well. On the other hand, I’ve been watching the Colts/Astros since 1962 and over the years I have seen our guys make many a inexperienced pitcher look like Cy Young the first time we went up against them. The kid starting for NY has less than 30 IP at the ML level and this is our first time to face him. Who knows what our guys might do. Hoping for the best. |
