It's odd I'm learning more about the Astros watching the ESPN telecast than the typical night of Blummer TK & Julia

Yordan Alvarez went 6-8 in a double header today. Time to call him up and send White down or say goodbye. Since he's making $13M, Yuli could show his gratitude by faking an injury. His bat isn't really doing much that'll be missed

Do we think Altuve's knee is still bothering him? I think he's just being careful.

Gosh, get some hits. Enough fly balls.

What's annoying about this particular game is we've faced Perez plenty of times. This guy should be batting practice by now

Astros have a .352 hitter and a .331 hitter sitting on the bench. Just about sums it up right there.

Holy Hell I saw White on TV tonight for the first time this year. That boy should get an ass whopping for letting himself go that bad. If my belly ever got that big my 110 lb wife would make me leave home. What a crying shame.

Our rotation has two aces, a rental, and two relievers. They need more help. that was my opinion when they went to spring training.

Hinch forfeited the game when he made out the lineup. The clipboard is giving bad advise. Sitting Brantley, Reddick, and Chirinos and playing White, Stassi, and Diaz was asking to lose.

It's likely that the three Venezuelan team mates, Rondon, Altuve and Chirinos had special consideration given due to the events of the day in their homeland.
Sometimes there is more to management than just the clip board.

I'm trying to stay more positive. At least we're still a game up.
On the plus side, Altuve hit the ball fairly well three times and came away with two hits. That's now two doubles in his last two games. And, White finally got on the board with an RBI. McHugh had one inning get away from him but it really wasn't that bad of a game for him.
I know people are itching to get rid of some of our struggling players, but let's try to be patient. These guys have shown enough success in the past to warrant giving them a fair chance to work through their struggles. I would say if some of these guys are still struggling just as poorly by the end of the month we should do something, but let's give them a little while longer. We're in a good position to give them a chance while still being a successful team.

Then, why did Altuve play?
