Punishing them for the use of chemical weapons. And in defiance of the Russians telling them not to bomb them.

Totally agree with Trump ordering the strikes on Syria. Putin better realize that Trump isn't a coward like Obama.

Is Bashar Asad or whatever his name is still the head guy in Syria? I thought ISIS’s job was to overthrow him. Way to drop the ball, guys.

I got kids in the military. No need to pick a fight but if we fight one then we need to kick their ass.

It's not THAT you kill each other, it's HOW you kill each other. Just like Gun Control. It's not killing that bothers so many, it's how.

Currently he is headed to Fort Hood again (he was across the street during the terrorist attack that a former President couldn't bring himself to label as a terrorist attack.) After a tour in Iraq as a Private, a tour in Afghanistan as a Sargent and another as a Lieutenant, he is now a Captain. He's more likely to get called for border security than another overseas assignment, but you never know in the Military. It appears that my son, an honors graduate in Engineering (Michigan Tech) is going to be a lifer.

My youngest has done two tours in Iraq and has been stationed at Ft Sam for a few years now as part of Group Army South. Given that he does something about bad guys down south, not sure what as it is all hush hush. My oldest speaks Arabic, Russian, Spanish, French, Italian, and some others that I do not remember.

He is an accountant by education. He says that he uses it often in his job. His uniform is never dirty. So he is a desk jockey for now.

My oldest is currently on injured reserve with the fire department. He severed a tendon while fighting a fire and is recovering from surgery. But the two jobs as a paramedic are a casualty until he recovers.
My Middle son started as a reserve while attending Michigan Tech. He joint the active army beginning with Iraq serving with the 4th Armored and played with IEDs. On his second tour, he was part of his Grampa's old unit and started jumping out of perfectly good Airplanes with the 101st Airborne. He said the extra weight carrying the rockets and launcher took some getting used to. After a quick third tour, he's back and in the Administrative side.
My youngest is an artist. So that means he's probably going to starve as most artists do.

The weight was really not a problem but humping that damn thing up and down them mountains was murder. When the rto fell and broke his back they asked me if I wanted to hump the radio and I said sure. I thought that was great because even though it was heavier than the m60 it was centered on my back and much easier slipping and sliding down those slopes. I was happy until I was told by one of the ncos that the radio guy was always the first one shot in an ambush. Felt kind of stupid taking it then.

The key thing to the bombing/missile attacks in Syria that the press isn't talking about is how, for the past 15 years or so, a certain group of U.S. politicians have been in cahoots with certain Syrian leaders to locate weapons production and human trafficking facilities in Syria... the purposes of these facilities are to derive a significant amount of non-audited revenue for illegal programs of various kinds (including several that sabotage our democracy), and also to blackmail the U.S. Government.
The facilities Trump bombed in Syria are precisely these ones set up by rogue/renegade U.S. politicians. He wasn't attacking the Russians or the Syrian people, except perhaps those who are in cahoots with the seditious Americans I am talking about. He had to do this so that the U.S. politicians plotting against their own country cannot carry out threats against the Government during a time in which lots of bad actors are being rounded up and put in jail.
The weapons & human trafficking facilities in Syria are part of a network of sites operated by the seditious Americans that spans Iran and North Korea as well. Drugs, abducted humans, and illegal weapons run through these 3 countries at the American politicians' direction. Most Americans are led to believe that Kim Jong-un runs North Korea. He doesn't. He takes his orders from
You'd be familiar with many of their names; they include both Dems and Repoublicans. John McCain, Loretta Lynch, Nancy Pelosi, Obama, the Clintons, Richard Perle, John Ashcroft. Corporations are involved there too, including many you know: Google, Facebook, Blackwater. Also Halliburton, whose banner sadly hangs in MInute Maid Park.
This isn't a problem that can be solved by burying one party and voting the other in to lead a sort of benevolent one-party state (which is what the Cubans and Laotians claim to have). This is a problem that requires the public to educate itself about the evil in its midst, and get behind those who have the legal authority to clean up the situation. Yes, even if some of those people 'draining the swamp' have fallen victim to ordinary human foibles like fornication. For those guilty of certain minor crimes like patronizing a prostitute, community service is probably a reasonable punishment for that offense... and I'd say that rounding up pedophiles and illegal weapons dealers is more than enough service to the community to pay back their transgressions.

Meant to say, Kim Jong-un takes orders from these American politicians and business moguls. I really think he doesn't want to do it. Trump is trying to free him from their control, but up until now they've had tremendous leverage over him. It appears Trump is succeeding and Kim is going to be free, after a long time of not being free, to do something that saves the lives of his people -- namely, denuclearize the Korean Peninsula and eventually, reunite with South Korea.

Glad to see that the good people of Indiana are speaking up about crooked U.S. politicians giving American nuclear fuel and technology to rogue nations so that they could blackmail the White House in future administrations.
