Now is a good time to bring up Stubbs. He is 9-26 with a couple home runs and more walks (7) than strikeouts (4) over his last 10 games. Bring him up. We have to have two catchers. Now is a good time to part ways with Stassi if Stubbs is ready. |

We now know that Osuna and Pressley are both human and not perfect and we got both wins. I'll admit I thought we had blown the game in the 9th. Clutch hits from Diaz and Correa pulled it out. We even survived Kemp in CF.
Buck and Smoltz were even plugging Alvarez to come up in June and replace fat ass. They seem to think Kemp is on shaky ground. The perfect thing would be to replace White.Kemp, and Stassi with Alvarez, Tucker, and Stibbs.

Back to back series wins against Boston. The only problems with that is that is we have o sweep to show continued improvement and a home field advantage.
What would really make me happy is a sweep of Chicago. I really, really, really despise that team because of Andyseralol and his shenanigans on the old board.

It would be really nice if Yuli decided to start hitting and contributing. Bregman, Correa and Brantley have all done their part throughout the season. We need some others to step up while Jose and George are out. I'm looking at you Yuli. Fat ass-------Stassi-------Kemp in a row with Kemp in CF for some reason. Putting your worst OF in CF and another left-handed bat against Price makes NO sense............three automatic outs in a row. Hinch's clipboard really screwed us this time. Why do you play Kemp in CF against Price instead of Jake? Bad move by Hinch and his clipboard. I thought that was a pretty bizarre move too. Kemp in CF with Jake riding the pine didn't make too much sense. |

Until Chirinos was signed, it looked like the Astros would go with Stassi/Stubbs for the catcher position but then Chirinos caused Stubbs to get stuck in AAA again. Stubbs has hit so well at AAA, it's nice to think he might keep at least a .260 avg as a catcher in the big leagues. |
