We may need to be ready to pull the trigger soon on some moves. Sign, DK. Promote Alvarez and/or Straw/Tucker. Release Kemp and White.
I'm all about depth but we have too good of a team to let things get away from us as we recuperate from these injuries.

I give Martin decent odds of turning his evening around... but even if he doesn't, this would be a good opportunity to get Brady Rodgers some low-leverage innings. And Stubbs showing he can hit at this level already makes it a win in my book.
Stubbs being a 'go' for the 2020 Opening Day Roster would have big implications for the off season decision-making.

Good work by Hinch on keeping it at 3-2 in the fourth inning. This gives the Stros a fighting chance.
At least, Martin having a rough adjustment to MLB helps Luhnow see exactly what he needs to do in July. A more seasoned Martin in 2020 could still be a key piece in the arsenal.
