Our offense has certainly not been as impressive the last couple weeks, but our pitching continues to be very good. Obviously we still have two-thirds of a season to go, but as of now, our pitching has been virtually just as good as last year despite losing Morton and McCullers. Miley is a big part of that. Let's hope he has another strong performance and see if we can get to a double digit lead in the division.

I don’t know what has happened to our top pitching prospects this year. Coming into the season I thought we had several guys in the upper minors who would be able to help the big club later this season. Whitley, Martin, Bukauskus , Cionel Perez, Deetz, Armenteros have all gone south. It’s sad to think that Guduan is pitching better than all of those guys right now.
