I am glad this over-rated batting practice pitcher found a sucker desperate enouugh to sign him. Just glad it wasn't us Coach, I think a little more highly of Kuechel, but I think the Braves are going to be considerably disappointed in the end result, vs. money spent. |

Just glad it wasn't us Coach, I think a little more highly of Kuechel, but I think the Braves are going to be considerably disappointed in the end result, vs. money spent. Yeah, but even if Keuchel completely flops for them they only ruined one partial year's worth of salary. And in the NL, where he gets 2-3 automatic outs, he could put up some pretty good numbers and improve his stock for next offseason. He'll still have to adjust his view of what he thinks he is worth though. |

For the record, I have nothing against Keuchel. I just think it's funny that he deemed his market value at X, when the actual market deemed it at Y.

Money could have been used more wisely. I was once a big Keuchel fan but grew tired of him getting us down by 3-4 runs after one inning. |

They didn't spend a ton of money and, on paper, improved their rotation with a guy one year removed from being an all-star. |

He benefited greatly from a wide zone and was done as soon as they made a cumulative decision to tighten the zone. Of course, they had to do so because he owned the Yankees and MLB suffers financially whenever the Yankees aren't the top dogs.
