Reason cited pretty much he didn't get along with O'Brien. IMO, if this was a true house cleaning he should have fired them both. link

I guess after 17 years, they’ve finally decided that mediocrity is unacceptable.

I still think ownership deserves the blame for where, why and how we're where we are now

Part of that culture better be letting the new GM (whoever he is) do his job on personnel, and stop yapping to the press about who the team needs to trade for, and who to draft and which round to draft them in

This last guy, the watet volleyball player, could be pretty good.... As a whole, the Texans have drafted some project/developmental players

Texan beat writers appear to be leaning toward two, possible scenarios
1. Cesario becomes Texans GM after paying hefty compensation to New England in draft picks
2. Patriots promote their director of player personnel to GM with a substantial raise, since no one in NE organization officially holds that title
Probably time for a poll

The Texans need to quit with their Patriots fetish.

I'd be surprised if O'Brien is gone in the next 12 months

Maybe if Jerry Jones would buy the Texans we could win a super bowl.

Maybe if Jerry Jones would buy the Texans we could win a super bowl. I’m sure Cowboys fans are willing to offer counterpoints.
