No luck for Reddick. You’d figure it will all balance out soon.

Outscored 20-2 in the last 2 games. This one is about over.

Peacock is worse than Valdez........The damn Rangers will be within 4.5 games of us after today. Once again, Hinch stares at his damn clipboard while the starting pitcher gives the game away in the first 3 innings....Bats are also dead.

Let's not overreact on Peacock. He has had a good year for us. He blew it today but he has been a good pitcher overall.

Poor approach. They were even pitching him outside. He could have bunted for a hit there.

As many of you have stated in the past, we are giving up too many long balls. I wonder why???

Altuve regularly has a poor approach........Genius Hinch pulls Alvarez and puts the leg humper in left field while we need runs.......great job,AJ. Your head is completely up your ass.

As many of you have stated in the past, we are giving up too many long balls. I wonder why??? Peacock grooved pitches down the middle the whole time he was on the mound..he asked to give up home runs..

As many of you have stated in the past, we are giving up too many long balls. I wonder why??? It's happening all over MLB. theathletic.com if you have a subscription has a piece on how they've changed the baseballs. 21 players are on a pace to hit 40 HRs, and the league is on pace to hit a thousand more homers than last season. I don't have a subscription, but it looks like an interesting article

They have us played very well up the middle. I believe that's four balls now that would have normally been hits.

He had a way better than average ERA before this outing. He certainly sucked today, but he's still been good for us. It just feels worse because we've been pretty bad all-around lately.

Guys, this pitching is becoming a real issue. It’s knocking the team out of games before they really can rally a chance.

We had a team ERA+ of 120 before yesterday. One of the best in baseball. Unfortunately, a few of our pitchers were playing over their head earlier in the season. There was going to be some balancing out. The positive aspect is that while we weren't as great as we showed before, we're also not as bad as we're showing right now. It will level out.
We still need some help, but it's not dire. Don't let a bad couple weeks make you rush to judgement. This poor month hasn't all been about the pitching.
We're going into the 2nd half with at least a 4.5 game lead despite significant missed time with three of our top players.

The offense was bound to struggle, but it’s still been one that has been centered on home runs and walks, which makes Bregman look faultless when the team struggles. However, like you’ve said, they’ve had their injuries. The pitching has not. They need to fix it before we start hearing things like oh, they’re only a game back, two games back, etc.
