Me, too. I can't believe we keep his fat ass on the roster. For some reason, they’re deathly afraid of him leaving and becoming a success elsewhere. If Alvarez is healthy and doesn’t crater, surely White is gone when Diaz and Correa return.

White’s playing time makes as much sense as Straw’s. There has to be some politics involved because if it were by merit, one would be gone and the other would be playing so much more often.

If White Lost 30 lbs and regained his bat speed and started hitting to an ops of 850 after being cut by the Astros and picked up by the Rangers everyone would have a sh!t fit.

^^^ I said that several weeks ago about White. It is the Astros fault by not putting White on some kind of Regiment to get him to lose some weight. I don't believe in diets, White needs to change his approach. It was the hanging out with the Upper So-called Upper-class at the Country Club. He needs to get hungry and really fight to stay up. By the Way, the Astros have allowed him to languish and produce without any penalty has also contributed to White's demise.

Alvarez and White are di-opposing opposites of a player who is fighting his way to permanently stay in MLB. The one similarity is they are both "hungry", but for different reasons.

Tyler White is not now and never will be a JD Martinez. JD put up some decent numbers when he was first brought up from the minors. Then he pretty much lost the 2013 season due to knee and wrist injuries due to no fault of his..., they were injuries that he sustained playing the game. When he struggled at the beginning of ST 2014 the team released him without giving him a legitimate chance to work through his issues. White isn’t injured. He’s just grossly overweight and out of shape..., something he could have prevented, but chose not to. White has had all of ST and half the regular season to pull off the excess weight and get himself in shape to play the game, but he has chosen not to. No similarity at all between JD and Tyler White.

Only after you pull your Jake Bobblehead out of your asshole. Jake actually contributes.........your boy, fat ass, can't contribute unless he keeps his fat ass off the field. If White had a bobblehead,m it would be kneeling if front of you to sbow appreciation to the only idiot who keeps defending him.

This time last year you thought he was a future superstar.........I told you then that you were wrong.....I was right then and I'm right now.......White's lazy, fat ass is a disgrace to the uniform. But, feel free to keep tossing his salad.

There is no doubt that JD Martinez has much more talent than White so there was never an attempt to equate the two from a talent standpoint. The question was asked why have they not cut White. The only possible explanation is that they worry that he might wake up and smell the roses if he is dfa. When the man is in shape he can hit, we saw that the last two years when he focused on getting himself into top shape. His lack of conditioning makes about as much sense as Reed's or perhaps Singleton's bong issues. The difference though is that White did get himself squared away for a short time.

I thought you gave up on White.. I did give up on White. I just wanted to make sure we gave him a full chance based on his performance the last two years. We did. His chance is over. That being said, I think if he can get himself in better playing shape he could bounce back with somebody. We just don't need to keep waiting for that.

Who let him feel that it was okay to get so out of shape? Complacency happens for a reason, and it could be a direct effect of a team’s culture.
