Good to see Straw getting another start and more playing time at SS. You have to appreciate Straw’s athleticism and willingness to begin learning to play SS.... the most demanding position on the infield... after having played in the outfield exclusively on his way up. Reminiscent of Biggio’s willingness to learn to play second base and then CF in order to help the team.

Alavez is making sure he isn't part of the cut after the Break of the Allstar Game.
If they are that afraid of White being the next JP put him on IR and make him lose 20-30 pounds or send his fat ass to Round Rock for a Month or two. One of the reasons he is slow is HOW frigging Fat he is. How can White look in the Mirror and not see Philsbury Dough Boy walking in real life not make believe?
