Altuve is getting scary close to being a below average offensive player this year. Did the sudden wealth get to his head and he no longer has the Drive. Or is he really starting to have an early regress in his ability to play baseball. There has to be something. You don't go from being one the top 5 to being in the bottom Rung. |

Altuve is getting scary close to being a below average offensive player this year. I know it will never happen, but until Jose starts hitting and as long as Bregman is getting on base, but can’t get a hit with RISP, I would like to see Bregman in the #2 slot behind Springer; Brantley at #3 and Alvarez at #4. |

Saint supports giving cheap controllable players a chance when they've shown success in the past. Saint stopped supporting White a while back when he showed no improvement and got to be June. Saint doesn't believe in being an asshole to all of the Astros when they slump. Saint worries about Altuve's drop in production but still likes the guy.

Jake is 12-40 for a .300 average which is better than Altuve and Bregman and dead even with Brantley..........A lot of guys would to "suck ass" like Jake has done for 3 weeks. He doesn't hit to all fields as he has in the past and tries to pull too often which results in DP balls and popups. A guy with his speed needs to take more pitches so he can see better pitches to hit and draw more walks. His drop has not been gradual.....it has been a quick downhill slide. |
