Time to send Hoyt and Marisnick to Fresno and call up White and Ferguson.

Hey, where are those posters who were wanting to take McCullers out of the rotation after his last start?

The Bo Sox are bringing the Angels back down to Earth. Let a little air out of their heads.

Time to send Hoyt and Marisnick to Fresno and call up White and Ferguson. Amen to that. We don't need Hoyt and Jake needs to go down to Fresno and see if he can get his act together. He is killing us and seems to get more frustrated with each game. He can't even get a bunt down tonight. I think I would bring Davis back unless White is tearing the cover off the ball down there. What a dominant game by McCullers. Our rotation is the best in either league. Now, if our offense can turn it around.........hopefully, this win is a start.

White has hit 4 HRs in 52 minor league ABs this season, with a .345 avg and 1.105 OPS. So very solid for him in Fresno. Davis just arrived in Fresno recently so it's kind of hard to say. He was 3 for 9 coming into tonight's game and did hit a HR tonight. So either or both of them would work in my opinion. Another option for dealing with Jake would be to put him on the DL for 10 days. Would clear a spot on the active roster.

This outfielder Drew Ferguson in Fresno is starting to get interesting. He's hit 17 for 42 (.405), got his first HR of the season tonight, and he walks more than he strikes out. He's pulling a .510 OBP so far.
No doubt he'll cool off, but the question is how much, and whether his stuff translates well to the big leagues. At the very least, he is earning himself a look at the MLB level.
By August, it could be we have Tucker and Ferguson instead of Marisnick and Fisher in the OF.

On the bright side, J.R. Richard will be glad that Jake is bumping him out of the Top 15 most strikeout-prone Astros players at the plate.

Marwin really needs to pick it up because the last thing Tucker needs is to be rushed.

Not enough work to do for an 8 man bullpen Take the horse blinders off, we only played 18 games, the season is not a sprint, it is a marathon.

The reason Ohtani leaving the game with blisters, seems questionable for an issue that usually develops when starting to throw regular in spring training. Especially he was pitching regularly in Japan. It could of been his out knowing he didn't have it last night.
