I usually don’t want to jump to conclusions and make a trade. However, we will go nowhere if we don’t get a legit 3rd started via trade. We are in a window to win more World Series, so I’m fine parting with some prospects if we can secure a pitcher that we can keep for multiple years. I’m confident Cole will be gone after this season and that leaves us with nothing outside of JV and McCullers, if he can return to form.
Go get Robbie Ray if the rumors are true.

So 7-3 with a 2.50ish ERA until his last four outings. Surely they think they can salvage something out of him.

Neither one will get out of the fifth but I think that both can do better than the crap we have been watching. Luhnow pull that damn trigger. |
