Incredibly frustrating player. He's totally given up on trying to take pitches. Which is okay if they're giving you stuff to swing at. Tomorrow he'll probably go 3-5 with two doubles. The year he first won a batting title, he never swung at sliders like a damn clown the way he does now. |

I guess it’s tradition for our second basemen to sell out on sliders down and out. They will get 3,000 hits, but you better believe they will swing out of their shoes for a slider down and away. |

WTF Altuve? It’s like he has amnesia at the plate. He had his head up his ass tonight..........0-5 and had the ugliest at bat I've seen when he struck out on three pitches reaching for a slider a foot out of the zone and on the ground. I get so aggravated with him sseing him get four hits one night and looking locked in and then he sbows up tonight playing peopper with the 3B and SS and stiking out. His problem is between his ears. we got what we expect from White and Stassi...........nothing. Stassi always looks like a clueless idiot standing there taking strikes down the middle before he strikes out. He needs to join White and get the hell out of Dodge. Verlander vs. Minor tomorrow night vs. Arlington.......I cringe at the thought of what we might start Sat. and Sun. |
