I appreciated watching what he did when he was productive. I had no problem with him as a person but was disappointed in his effort at maintaining at least a mediocre level of fitness in order to secure a spot on the team. I believe this effort was reflected in his poor season.
Nothing is handed to you in the big leagues. He had a chance as a non-star to be a part of something really big and didn’t take full advantage of it; however, I hope he learns from this and improves and also finds a job elsewhere. If he becomes the next J.D. Martinez, the only ones at fault will be the Astros and their poor leadership and coaching.
Good luck.

I appreciated watching what he did when he was productive. Yep. It was a great and enjoyable 3 weeks and 4 days.

With no options you'll very likely be seeing him again back on our AAA roster.

Kemp is probably next to go.

I guess this means he was out of Options and the only way to send him down was this.

I’m saying if he all of a sudden loses the weight and becomes a great hitter elsewhere, you’d have to ask yourself why he didn’t do that during his time here. If he stays how he is, then the Astros handled him as well as possible.

LOL they can’t stop him from gaining weight, but they could’ve given him the boot a month or so ago for his performance. It’s not fair for one guy who hasn’t earned a spot to keep someone else down.

White is one Player that can't complain he wasn't giving a fair chance. NO playing time etc. I have never seen a player that was playing so bad on the field as much as he was.

I still think White can be a good hitter. He has shown he can. But he needs to look at this as a wake up call. Get in shape and work at it.
He had some nice performances for us in 2017 and 2018.

We will be okay without White. We still have Wallace, AJ Reed and even Singleton to plug in whenever we need a backup. Oh wait, what year is this?

As long as he looks like the Pillsbury doughboy, he will be garbage. If he had any pride, he would not have let himself go the way he has.

That is what I never understood.......allowing him to be totally out of shape, produce nothing, and remain in the lineup.

They were waiting for Saint to finally admit that he shouldn’t be on a MLB team. It took a while.
