Unlike White, I thought Kemp still had some upside value. Luhnow just pulled his Jedi Mind Tricks on the Dodgers with White. Maybe lightining will strike again |

I wonder who the Dodgers would have wanted more: White or Kemp. Did the Astros wait until White was picked up before announcing Kemp being DFA'd or did the Dodgers only want White?

I wonder who the Dodgers would have wanted more: White or Kemp. Did the Astros wait until White was picked up before announcing Kemp being DFA'd or did the Dodgers only want White? Looking at the Dodgers lineup, I am puzzled too. There sure isn't room for a .200 hitting DH Jabba the Hut there. My theory is they want to sit his fat ass on the San Andreas Fault, and maybe he'll stop an earthquake. Tectonics my friend. |

Luhnow was able to pull Yordan for the Dodgers. Possibly this Srubb we got could end up being a gem also. I would imagine Luhnow will be able to flip Kemp for some decent prospect as well.

Why would the Dodgers want White? They gave us a minor league pitcher named Scrubb to get him. Wouldn't it be great if this deal turned out like the one when we gave them Josh Fields for Yordan Alvarez?? |

LAD has had success elevating hitters in recent history. Muncy, Turner, and Freese come to mind immediately. They've had success kind of like we've had success reviving starting pitchers.
