Hitting over .300 with 20 bombs and filling in all over the infield. Where are you losers who wanted to trade him or cut him? Also, hasn't he been close to a .300 hitter several times for us over the years?

It's been an amazing month. I'm happily surprised he has bounced back and I hope it continues.
That being said, my main issue with him has always been in his inability to get on base at even an average pace unless he is hitting close to .300. So when he's hot, he's great. But when he slumps, he doesn't even get on base. Unlike somebody like Altuve or Bregman.
And up until this year he has been a big GIDP threat. Which made not getting on base and killing rallies really bad.
I certainly didn't think he this kind of season in him at his age.

The month he is having is one of the best we've ever seen:
.411/.442/.878 1.320 OPS 12 HR 28 RBI

Where are you losers who wanted to trade him or cut him? Astros Refugees must have a large "Oriental" contingent.

The man hits the ball and hits it hard, and people being on base makes no difference. He is doing what Bregman isn’t. Walks are fine and dandy but drive in some runners when given chances. Then, you can stare into the dugout camera.

Offer him a reasonable extension and trade him if he won't accept it.

Then, you can stare into the dugout camera. Sure, it's not everything. I didn't mean to imply that it was. The difference is that a slump for an all-contact no-walk hitter is way worse than otherwise. They aren't driving in runs AND they aren't getting on base. There's no value at all. Bregman's slump is frustrating, but he's still getting on base very well. It could be worse. At least if you're getting on base, you have the chance to score runs or advance runners.

In fairness, Gurriel’s weakness is also Bregman’s strength. I guess I’m eager for Bregman to return to last season’s dominance. I know it’s a tall order, but he needs to at least get more doubles going.

He's had a couple days to get his head together. Hey, at least he has been swinging more with RSIP the way you wanted. It'll come around.
