What an exciting few days.
Just for a moment, what do the Fugee minions think was the greatest no hitter in team history. You can chime in on another game, but I see the candiates as:
(1) Don Wilson's 1967 gem. IMO the most dominating no hitter of the group. Wilson strikes out 15, with ending it on a K of Hank Aaron. (2) Ryan's '81 game.- This is the one that broke Koufax's record of 4. BTW- I had tickets to this one, but couldn't go. (3) Mike Scott's '86 NLW clinching no- no. (my choice for pure excitement) (4) The Gang of 6 no-hitter against the Yankees in 2003- Oswalt gets injured in the 1st, and 5 subsequent relievers hold the AH yankees hitless. 6 is still the MLB record (5) Aaron, Harris, Biagini, Devenski last night. Two of four of these guys haven't even unpacked. Add the fact and elation of a historic trade deadlne that netted two of these guys

I voted for the 6-player one because I was working a crappy job at the time, and it made the day so much better. Plus, it happened at Yankee Stadium and Bagwell tossed it to Wagner to end it, and he had no reason to pitch other than to screw over the Yankees.

Also, Yankee fans ended up cheering for the Astros by the 9th inning. It was very Rocky IV.

When you recapture it like that, along with the Rocky IV reference, it makes me to change my vote away from Mike Scott's NH. I voted “other.” My vote goes to Don Wilson’s second no-hitter. He pitched it against the Reds on May 1, 1969... the day after Reds pitcher Jim Maloney no-hit the Astros. The Reds players had no respect for the Astros and were taunting/making fun of them. It was also said that the Reds were hurling racial insults at Wilson. Wilson’s no-hitter was sweet revenge. Here is a good article on that no-hitter: www.astrosdaily.com/history/19690501/Mike Scott’s no-hitter in 1986 is a close second for me.

Poor Mike Fiers never gets any love. Oh, wow. How was he not on there? I’d rank his no-hitter over the one yesterday.

The Wilson no-no was way before my time, but it sounded amazing. It’s not often you can no-hit a team the day after they did the same to you.

Does anyone think that Vander Meer's 1938 consecutive no hit streak will ever be broken, or even tied? Think how lucky you have to be in the first place to even have a no hitter. Now do it in consecutive starts? Crazy insane. IMO- I think someone maybe far in the future will tie it. Break it with 3? No way.

Imagine if Seager didn’t play yesterday.

I was at Ryan's 5th no-hitter, so I'm biased. Seats in centerfield
