You would think you would want more of a sure thing with the third pick. The other CB, "Sauce", taken with the fourth pick, was the better pick..... Here's to hoping the Texans really want to bolster their running game that was worst in the NFL last year. And they draft RB stud Breece Hall with their next pick. Then the overreach of taking OG Martin at 15 makes sense. Maybe they just didn't want to put up with any annoying ego with somebody calling themselves "Sauce"... My choice would have been the third pick - OT Okenow or OT Neal, and with the 13th pick S Kyle Hamilton. That would have been an A+ first round. 2nd round Breece Hall 3rd round (2 picks) Best Edge Rusher and then BPA.

All about ELEVATING THEIR BRAND. Players self -"Branding" is one of the most annoying things in professional sports. It's not about the sport to them. It's about how much they can make and what they can do with that money in their own image. I have no issues with people trying to get paid, we all want that, but they're putting themselves ahead of their team and the sport to do so.

Then, they come groveling to fans and recruit them against the big bad owners.

Day 2. A Safety from Baylor, WR from Bama, and ILB from Bama. The ILB was rated as the 56th best player and we got him at 75 overall. Usually can’t go wrong with players out of Bama.

In hind sight I would of gone Neal, Hamilton, Brisker, Harris, White, then Winfrey, Bryant, and then Ingram.
They had those two edge guys lined up before the draft but did not sign them in case Nannuck of the North fell past Detroit. Also they could sign Michel to bring the gap til they can get Robinson next year.
